The race format for the 2010 Series is described in detail below:
- For Rounds 1-4:
- Race times clocked during the Mains will be used to determine your placement in a particular Division, beginning in Round 5.
- The winner of each class (Nitro Buggy/Truggy, Electric Buggy/Truggy) will be awarded +100 points, the second place finisher will receive +99 points, and so on.
- TQ will receive +2 points.
- Beginning with Round 2, those racers that have participated in the 'previous Round' will receive 'participation points' of +1 point.
- Only TQ and 'participation' points will be carried over to Round 5.
- After the completion of Round 4, the racers names and associated Division will be posted online.
- For Rounds 5-7:
- Beginning with Round 5, racing will be Divisions within each class
- The quantity and size of Mains will be determined by car capacity of the hosting track, weather conditions, etc.
- The Race Director reserves the right to decide on the number of Mains to run and the number of cars/Main.
- The actual number of Divisions will be determined by the number of racers in that particular class.
- Race times for each Division are as follows:
- All qualifying rounds = 5 mins
- Championship Cup = 25 mins
- Division 1 = 20 mins
- Division 2 = 15 mins
- Division 3 = 10 mins
-*Race times are subject to change at the discretion of the Race Director based on unforseen complications, track conditions, lighting, etc.
- At the start of Round 5, all participants will be given +10 points for EACH previous Round 1-4 that they raced in.
- Ex: If you raced in all Rounds 1-4, you will have 4x10=40 points starting in Round 5; similarly if you raced Rounds 2 and 3 only, you will have 2x10=20 points.
- Any TQ and/or participation points from Rounds 1-4 will be carried over and added.
- Ex: The maxiumum points a racer can have at the start of Round 5 is +51 points.
- The winner of each Division will be awarded +100 points, the second place finisher will receive +99 points, etc.
- TQ will receive +2 points.
- All racers that have participated in the 'previous Round' will receive +1 point for participation.
- For Rounds 5-7 only, the winner of each Division will receive a bonus +14 points.
- For Round 8 (FINALS):
- Racers that participated in Round 7 will receive +1 point.
- Double points will be awarded for the Finals Round.
- TQ will receive +2 points.
- General Details:
- Awards will be given to the Top 3 racers of each Division
- Awards range from the silver Championship Cup, pit mats, tools and plaques
- Entry fee is $30 for the first entry & $20 for each additional.
- Get the official 2010 Series T-Shirt FREE for participation in all 8 Rounds!
- T-Shirts will be distributed at the Finals.
- Prizes will be raffled off throughout the entire event.
- Personal transponders are required.
- ROAR membership is required & will be available for purchase at each hosting track location.
